The MyGame User Guide

Everything you need to book a pitch, join a tournament, hire a coach, see a sports physio, run a club, or track your own development as a player — in one place, built for football in India.

This guide is organised two ways: read the Guides by Role section that matches what you came to do, or jump straight to a Step-by-Step Workflow if you already know the task — booking a venue, hiring a coach, seeing a physio, or setting up a club. Every section links back to the top, and the index is clickable throughout.

Getting Started

1. 1Create your account. Tap Sign in in the top-right, then Sign up. You'll be a Player the moment you join — every account starts here, whatever else you plan to do on MyGame.
2. 2Complete your football profile. Go to My football profile and add your position, age group, city, and a photo. This is what coaches, clubs and academies see when they look you up.
3. 3Decide what else you want to do. Just here to book a turf and play? You're already set up. Want to manage a venue, coach, referee, or run a club? Head to Roles at a Glance to see how to unlock those.

Navigating the App

The top navigation is grouped into three areas so you're never scrolling through a long list to find what you need:

The Play / Grow / Community groups

Your account menu

Click your email in the top-right for your personal menu. It only shows what's relevant to you: everyone sees their own bookings, tickets, invoices and profile; console links like Venue manager or Coach console only appear once you actually hold that role. Apply for a role is always there — it's your one stop for becoming a venue manager, organizer, coach, referee, club owner, editor, or partner/academy admin.

Roles at a Glance

Every account starts as a Player. Everything else is opt-in: request a role from Apply for a role, and an admin reviews and approves it — usually within a short time.

For Players

This is the default experience for everyone on MyGame — find somewhere to play, someone to help you improve, and a way to track that improvement.

What you can do

• Search and book football turfs by city, format (5-a-side through 11-a-side/futsal) and available slot — see Booking a Venue
• Join tournaments and buy tickets to matches
• Book a coach or trainer, or a physio/doctor/nutritionist consultation
• Track your development: skill assessments, fitness tests and personal goals — see Tracking Goals & Progress
• Follow clubs, read football news, and check pitch-side weather before a match
• Browse trials and opportunities under Grow → Opportunities

For Venue Managers

List your turf or ground, control your own calendar, and get booked directly through MyGame.

1. 1Request the Venue Manager role from Apply for a role.
2. 2Once approved, open the Venue manager console from your account menu and add your venue: name, city, address with map pin, pitch formats you offer (multi-select — a venue can offer 5-a-side and 11-a-side together), hourly rate, and amenities grouped by category (Sporting, Spectators, Hospitality, Broadcasting/Tech, Commercial).
3. 3Publish the listing — it becomes searchable on Play → Venues immediately.
4. 4Set blackout periods for maintenance or private use, so those hours never show as bookable.
5. 5When a booking comes in, accept or reject it from the console; accepted bookings lock that slot for everyone else automatically.

For Organizers

Run tournaments from creation to matchday.

• Request the Organizer role, then build a tournament in the Organizer console: format, dates, venue, entry fee, and ticketing.
• Publish fixtures as they're finalised — they show live on the tournament's public page.
• On matchday, use Gate check-in to scan tickets at the venue entrance.

For Coaches & Trainers

Coaches and trainers work differently from a one-off appointment — this reflects how coaching actually works in India, as a running programme rather than a single hourly slot.

• Request the Coach role (trainers use the same provider listing under Grow → Medical, marked as a trainer specialisation).
• Set your monthly programme fee as your headline price, and optionally a single-session rate if you also take one-off drop-ins.
• Manage enrolments and your session calendar from the Coach console.

For Referees

• Request the Referee role, then publish your availability in the Referee console.
• Accept match appointments as organizers assign them.
• Log match events (cards, goals, incidents) directly from the console during or after the match.

For Club Owners

A club page is your team's public presence — separate from an academy, which is covered in Creating a Club or Academy below, where the distinction and the setup steps for both are explained together.

For Physios, Sports Doctors & Nutritionists

MyGame's provider directory connects players directly with verified medical and performance professionals.

1. 1Go to Provider listing — no separate role approval is required to create your listing, but it only appears publicly once an admin verifies it.
2. 2Add your qualifications, registration number, years of experience, specialisations, and languages spoken.
3. 3Set your consultation fee — a flat per-visit fee, not an hourly rate, matching how medical consultations are actually priced.
4. 4Choose whether you offer video, in-person, or both, and (if in-person) your practice address.
5. 5Once verified, you appear in search under Grow → Medical, and players can book and message you directly.

For Academies & Partner Organisations

The Partner Org Admin role is for running a football academy or similar organisation on MyGame — trials, scouting, and a team of staff, not just a single coach's calendar.

• Request the Partner Org Admin role, then set up your academy profile in the Partner console.
• Publish trials that players can apply to (visible under Grow → Opportunities and on your academy page).
• Use the scouting console to shortlist and track promising applicants.
• Add team members/staff under your organisation as needed.

For News Editors

Editors keep the Community → News feed genuinely football-focused. Request the Editor role, then use the News console to review incoming articles, publish, and pin the ones that matter.

Workflow: Booking a Venue

1. 1Go to Play → Venues and search by venue name, city, or use your current location.
2. 2Filter by pitch format if you need a specific size (5-a-side, 7-a-side, 9-a-side, 11-a-side, or futsal).
3. 3Open a venue's page. Its amenities are grouped by category so you can see at a glance what's on offer beyond the pitch itself.
4. 4In the booking panel, pick a date — the slot grid shows exactly which hours are free and which are already taken, so you never have to guess.
5. 5Choose your slot and duration; the price (including GST) is calculated for you.
6. 6Confirm and pay — your booking moves from pending payment to confirmed once payment clears, and a GST invoice is generated automatically.
7. 7Manage or review all your bookings anytime from My bookings.

Workflow: Engaging a Coach or Trainer

Coaching on MyGame is built around how it actually works on the ground in India — an ongoing monthly programme, not a single hourly slot — with the option of a single drop-in session where a coach offers one.

1. 1Go to Grow → Coaching and browse or search by city and specialisation (e.g. youth development, goalkeeping, strength & conditioning).
2. 2Open a coach or trainer's profile to see their qualifications, coaching license (for football coaches), specialisations, and — the headline number — their monthly programme fee.
3. 3Choose Enrol in this month's programme to commit to the monthly rate, or, if the coach offers it, Book a single session at their per-session rate instead.
4. 4Pay to confirm. Actual session scheduling for enrolled programmes happens directly with your coach after enrolment — this mirrors how academies and personal coaches run things in practice, where the coach sets the training calendar for their group.

Workflow: Engaging a Doctor (or Physio/Nutritionist) & the Follow-Up

1. 1Go to Grow → Medical and filter by kind — physio, sports doctor, nutritionist, or trainer — and city, or use your location to find the nearest option.
2. 2Check the Verified badge, registration number, and qualifications before booking — this is your assurance the listing has been reviewed, not just self-declared.
3. 3Book a visit: choose video or in-person (if the provider offers both) and pay the flat consultation fee shown on their profile.
4. 4Attend your consultation. If it's an injury-related visit, your provider can log an injury report against your profile.
5. 5Follow-up: book your next visit the same way — from the provider's profile, or from My consultations, where your consultation history with that provider is kept together so context isn't lost between visits.

Workflow: Creating a Club or Academy

MyGame separates these deliberately, because they serve different purposes:

The goal each achieves: a club builds community and visibility around a team that already exists; an academy builds a pipeline — bringing new players in, developing them (see Tracking Goals & Progress), and tracking who's ready for what's next. Many organisations eventually run both — a club page for the senior team's public presence, and an academy structure underneath it for the pathway that feeds it.

Workflow: Tracking Goals & Measuring Progress

Open Player development (or reach it from your dashboard, if you have an active coach) to see:

• Skill assessments across seven areas — technical, passing, shooting, dribbling, defending, physical, and mental — recorded by your coach or a qualified staff member over time, so you can see real trends, not just a single snapshot.
• Fitness tests — sprint times, endurance, and other benchmarks logged after training or assessment sessions.
• Goals — set specific, measurable targets (e.g. "sub-7.2s 30m sprint by 15 September") with a due date. Each goal has a status — Active, Achieved or Dropped — so your history of what you set out to do, and what you actually hit, stays visible.

A Player's Path: Using MyGame Meticulously

If you're serious about improving, here's the order that gets the most out of the platform — each step builds on the last.

1. 1Complete your [football profile](/player-profile) fully — position, age group, city, photo. An incomplete profile is invisible to the coaches and academies who might be looking.
2. 2Book your first turf session under Play → Venues — get playing regularly before anything else.
3. 3Set your first development goal in Player development — even a simple one. A goal with no target is just a wish.
4. 4Engage a coach matched to what that goal needs — see Engaging a Coach or Trainer. Let your assessments start accumulating.
5. 5Book a physio or sports doctor visit proactively, not just after an injury — see Engaging a Doctor. Fitness data feeds back into your development record.
6. 6Join a tournament under Play → Tournaments once you've had a few coached sessions — this is where assessments turn into match performance.
7. 7Review your goals monthly — mark what's achieved, drop what's no longer relevant, and set the next one. This cadence is what turns the app from a booking tool into an actual development record.
8. 8Check the [leaderboard](/leaderboard) and [opportunities](/opportunities) regularly — trials and scouting opportunities are listed by academies actively looking for players at your level.

The throughline: booking a pitch gets you playing, a coach and physio get you improving safely, and the development record is what turns that improvement into something an academy or scout can actually see and evaluate.

Your Dashboard

Your dashboard opens with a short, role-aware list of anything genuinely waiting on you — a payment about to expire, a role request update, an upcoming booking or consultation, or (for venue managers, coaches, and admins) requests that need a decision. Nothing to action? It simply says so, rather than showing an empty card.
